Our large animal services are organised from the general office which is situated at our Bridgend branch.
The majority of our emergency and out of hours work is run out of our Bridgend branch which is manned by nursing staff 24 hours a day. Bridgend boasts fantastic diagnostic facilities and a dedicated hospital team run by Candice Cadwallader who has taken on the challenge of studying for the RCVS certificate in small animal medicine. This advanced qualification demands extremely high levels of knowledge, skill and application.
Recent extensive alterations to the building have ensured that Maes Glas Vets offer excellent, modern facilities in which to hospitalise and treat your furry friends. Extra consulting rooms have enabled us to decrease waiting times and also to offer services such as behavioural advice, physiotherapy and consultations with ophthalmic and exotic animal specialists. Extended wards mean larger kennels and increased comfort for both cats and dogs and we have cemented our commitment to providing excellent feline medicine with maintaining separate wards for dogs and cats. We have also extended our theatre, diagnostic and laboratory areas.
