Maes Glas Vets is one of the largest practices in the South Wales area. We are proud to provide veterinary services for the Dogs Trust in Bridgend and to the South Wales Police Dog section in addition to many local and organisations and our reputation for a quality service over a large area of South Wales speaks for itself.
With over 20 vets, a large number of qualified support staff, and 6 branches, we are equipped and able to deal with a range of problems from chocolate poisoning in dogs to fracture repairs in cats. Our veterinary team bring a wealth of experience to the practice and have individually obtained high standards of professional qualification. Several of our vets have specific areas of interest and we also have links with a range of specialists, such as the University of Bristol, Origin Vets and the Eye Veterinary Clinic for the few problematic cases which arise each year which cannot be treated in our extensive hospital facilities.
Our understanding and supportive staff will see your pet promptly in pleasant surroundings, work with you to diagnose the problem with the aid of the latest technology and instigate a course of treatment, which is monitored to completion.
Outside of normal working hours some vets use an emergency service provider, someone who will have no records for your pet and may be based some distance away from your regular practice. We aim to provide an excellent local service, and our own in house team of 2 vets and a nurse are available to deal with your emergency 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
