Maes Glas Veterinary Group provides a first class service for both farm and companion animals over a large area of South Wales. We are proud to provide veterinary services for the Dogs Trust in Bridgend and for the South Wales Police Dog section.
With 18 vets and a large number of qualified support staff, we are able to deal with a range of problems from chocolate poisoning in dogs to infertile mares and cows with mastitis. Several of our vets have specific areas of interest and we also have links with a range of specialists, such as the University of Bristol, Three Counties Equine Hospital and the Eye Veterinary Clinic for the few problematic cases which arise each year.
Maes Glas Veterinary Group has an understanding and supportive staff, who will see your pet promptly in pleasant surroundings, diagnose the problem with the aid of the latest technology and instigate a course of treatment, which is monitored to completion.
Everyone at our practice is committed to providing you with the very best in pet, farm animal and equine healthcare. Our veterinary team bring a wealth of experience to the practice and have individually obtained high standards of professional qualification.
Outside of normal working hours some vets use an emergency service provider, someone who will have no records for your pet and may be based some distance away from your regular practice. We aim to provide an excellent local service, and our own in house team of 2 vets and a nurse are available to deal with your emergency 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
