Herd & Flock Health Plans

Many cattle farms are now implementing disease control and monitoring schemes for infectious diseases such as Johnes, IBR, BVD and leptospirosis. For sheep clients parasite control is a topic of particular importance and often a source of great concern now that the traditional use of wormers and flukicides has been affected by changes to weather patterns

Herd and flock health plans are now common place in the UK farming industry and are designed to optimise the health, welfare and productivity of your herd or flock. Schemes can be a general overview or target farm specific problems such as pneumonia, scours or infertility and may suggest changes to management regimes or vaccination strategies.

Subsidisation by the Welsh Assembley Government is often available.

Please ask us for details or if you would like to arrange a herd or flock health assessment.
